  • Principal Investigator, 07/2015 – 06/2017, Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine USA. Determined prevalence of group B streptococcal (GBS) colonization in Indian women in the USA. The positive isolates were be serotyped and genotyped.
  • Principal Investigator, 07/2014 – 05/2016, Baylor College of Medicine (Texas Children’s Hospital) USA and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, Delhi, India. Determined prevalence of group B streptococcal (GBS) colonization in third trimester pregnant women in Delhi, India. Also, determined GBS capsular serotypes using latex serotyping technique.
  • Co-Investigator, 08/2012- 8/2014, Children’s Hospital of Michigan, USA. Conducted a review of ethanol lock therapy to salvage central venous lines in immunocompromised (Hematology-Oncology and Stem cell transplant) children.
  • Research Assistant, 04/2009 – 04/2010, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, India. Worked with Dr. Anuj Mittal to study psychiatric problems and their management in Afghan refugees in Delhi. Also, determined the prevalence of psychosocial problems in school-going adolescents.
